Traumatic Brain Injury Services

MHA recognized through self-assessment and community needs that we had an expertise in responding to individuals in need of residential support beyond those with mental health and developmental disabilities.  In response to this gap in Western MA, MHA began providing services in 1999 to individuals who experienced traumatic brain injury.  This program is funded through the MA Rehabilitation Commission.

Community Residence – This is a two person residence for individuals who have suffered a traumatic brain injury and are in need of intensive structure and support in activities of daily living.  The program is staffed 24 hours a day and has access to MHA’s nursing team.
