Give. Give. Get.
GRIT Ridgewood is a beautifully restored historic home in a quiet Springfield neighborhood. For sixteen young men (ages 18 to 26) with a co-occurring mental health and substance use diagnosis, it is home. It’s the only residential recovery program in Massachusetts designed specifically for this underserved population.
These young men come to Ridgewood for help learning to navigate their lives in recovery. GRIT staff, most with their own lived experience with addiction and mental illness, help them discover who they are, interact productively with others, and build confidence to live successfully.
To serve these young men, MHA needs your generosity. Now through December 1st (Giving Tuesday), when you give to MHA you get one shirt (or other great garment) to keep, and another to give a resident at GRIT Ridgewood. Options for you include a long sleeve T, hoodie, men’s golf shirt, women’s golf jacket, or men’s quarter zip, all featuring high quality fabrics and make (see left). Our local supplier’s big heart means more (much more!) of your donation directly supports the operation of GRIT Ridgewood.
On Giving Tuesday, or sooner, please consider making a gift to help a young man who wants to stay sober and feel well…a young man who wants to live his best life. Please donate now.
