MHA is excited to announce the opening of its new day service, the Resource Center. The Resource center provides dynamic day services to people living with an acquired brain injury through the MFP waiver. The Resource Center offers individualized programming in a boutique setting that pays value to the unique needs of every member of the center. Programming centers on the four main focus in the Resource Center’s mission which is to provide skill building, community membership, promote independence, and wellness through recreation and community partnerships.

At the Resource Center members will enjoy:

  • Therapeutic Arts & Crafts
  • Adaptive exercise
  • Volunteering opportunities

After 3pm the Resource Center evolves from the structured programming of a day service to the flexible, supportive environment of a community center. Dubbed the Center, attendees can enjoy a variety of opportunities for skill building and social interaction including:

  • Computer classes
  • Guest speakers
  • Support groups
  • Cooking classes
  • Art classes
  • Wellness opportunities
