Care That Supports Your Whole

Well-Being

Our team works with you to create a personalized plan that supports your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Outpatient Services Designed Around You

  • Comprehensive Assessment

Your first step is a welcoming, judgment-free conversation focused on understanding you as a whole person—not just your symptoms. During your assessment, a licensed clinician will talk with you about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals for care.

Together, you’ll begin to identify what’s getting in the way of feeling your best and what support might help. From there, we’ll create a personalized care plan that may include therapy, medication support, or more specialized services based on your needs.

    This may include referrals to:

    • Individual or group therapy
    • Medication support services
    • Community Support Program (CSP) for more intensive, community-based care
    • Peer Recovery Coaching for additional support in recovery

This process is collaborative, supportive, and designed to meet you where you are.

  • Individual & Group Therapy

Therapy at BestLife provides a safe, supportive space to talk openly, build insight, and develop practical tools for everyday life. Our clinicians use evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs.

    Individual Therapy

Work one-on-one with a clinician to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or life transitions. Sessions are personalized and focused on your goals.

    Group Therapy

Connect with others in a guided, supportive environment. Groups bring together individuals with shared experiences to build skills, reduce isolation, and learn from one another.

    Group offerings may include:

    • Coping skills and stress management
    • Substance use recovery support
    • Emotional regulation and resilience
    • Parenting groups, offering guidance, support, and practical strategies for managing family stress, strengthening parent-child relationships, and navigating challenges at different stages of development

As part of therapy services, you may also access:

    • Short-term, solution-focused counseling
    • Ongoing therapy for deeper, long-term support
    • Coordination with other BestLife services for more comprehensive care

Whether individual or group, therapy is designed to help you feel more confident, supported, and better equipped to navigate everyday life.

  • Medication Management

For some individuals, medication can be a helpful part of care. Our team provides thoughtful, personalized medication support when appropriate—always in partnership with you.

You’ll meet with a psychiatric provider who will take time to understand your needs and discuss options clearly and respectfully.

    Medication services may include:

    • Psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis
    • Ongoing medication monitoring and adjustments
    • Coordination with your therapist and care team
    • Support for co-occurring mental health and substance use needs

Medication may also be integrated with other services like Community Support Program (CSP) and therapy to ensure your care feels connected and consistent.

Our goal is to ensure you feel informed, comfortable, and supported in every decision.

  • Community Support & Care Coordination

Mental health care doesn’t stop at appointments. Our Community Support Program (CSP) offers more intensive, community-based services for individuals who would benefit from additional structure and support.

Through CSP and care coordination, we provide:

    • One-on-one support in navigating daily challenges
    • Help accessing housing, healthcare, and benefits
    • Support with employment or education goals
    • Coordination between providers and services
    • Ongoing encouragement and accountability

This program is especially helpful for individuals managing ongoing mental health or substance use challenges who need support beyond traditional outpatient therapy.

Our goal is to help you build stability, independence, and confidence in your daily life.

  • Substance Use Recovery Support

We provide compassionate, integrated support for individuals navigating substance use and recovery. Whether you’re just beginning to explore change or continuing your recovery journey, we meet you where you are.

Our approach recognizes that recovery is personal—and that mental health and substance use are often closely connected.

    Services may include:

    • Individual and group therapy focused on recovery
    • Relapse prevention and coping strategies
    • Medication support when appropriate
    • Care coordination and community-based support

Peer Recovery Coaching is a key part of this support. Peer coaches bring lived experience and offer:

    • One-on-one encouragement and mentorship
    • Help navigating recovery resources and systems
    • Support in building routines, goals, and accountability
    • Connection from someone who understands the recovery journey firsthand

Together, these services create a supportive, flexible path toward stability and long-term recovery.

MHA Introduces Community Support Program (CSP)
By John Collins September 5, 2024
MHA is thrilled to announce the launch of our new Community Support Program (CSP), which is part of our BestLife Clinic. The program aims to help individuals who are facing social, economic, and environmental factors that significantly impact their ability to access healthcare and live independently. CSP is a mobile, short-term (3-6 months) intensive case management service that helps clients who are dealing with unemployment, food insufficiency, transportation, and housing issues.

The 113-page “Mental Health ABC Act” calls for much interagency cooperation among the state’s department of public health, mental health, veterans services and insurance commission among others to ensure its provisions are carried out and monitored.
